How to Mail a Letter From Your iPhone

You can mail a letter from your iPhone without a printer, an envelope or a stamp. The Have It Printed app is on the App Store and Google Play. Add a document or a photo, choose how it's mailed, enter the address and pay. We print it on US Letter paper and mail it for you.

How it works

• Add your file. A PDF, a Word document, a text file or a photo, from your camera roll or the Files app, or take a photo with your camera. One order can hold up to 10 files.
• Pick your options. Black and white or color, and how many copies (letters are one copy).
• Choose how it's mailed. A letter folded into a standard envelope and sent USPS First-Class. A USPS Certified letter with a tracking number. Or flat & tracked, in a rigid mailer that never folds your pages.
• Enter the address and pay. You see the price, with sales tax where it applies, before you pay.
• That's it. We print it and mail it. When your option includes a tracking number, it comes by email, and you can follow the order in the app.

We mail to the address exactly as you type it, so check the apartment or suite number before you pay.

When the app comes in handy

• You're on the phone with Grandma. She wants the photos from the weekend, on paper. Pick them from your camera roll and send them before you hang up.
• A form is due. You filled it in on your phone, and your printer is at home, out of ink again. Send it from wherever you are.
• You need a record that it was sent. A notice to a landlord, or a reply someone asked for in writing. Send it as a Certified letter and keep the tracking number.
• You don't own a printer. Plenty of people don't anymore. That's who this app is for.
