# Have It Printed

> Have It Printed is an online print-and-mail service. Upload a document and we print it and mail it for you, postage included. Letters are $3 (up to 5 pages, folded into an envelope, with an email the day it is mailed but no delivery tracking) and Certified letters $11 (with a tracking number). Flat and tracked orders, mailed flat in a rigid mailer that won't bend, with a free tracking number, are from $15 for a standard document up to 30 pages; longer documents are priced by page tier. Mails to any U.S. address; flat and tracked orders made on the website also mail to Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia and Japan. No account is required.

## What we do
- You upload a document and choose how it is mailed: a Letter or Certified letter, folded into a standard envelope, or flat and tracked, flat in a rigid mailer. We print it, add postage and mail it.
- We print and mail your order after checkout.
- Delivery time depends on the carrier.
- Flat and tracked orders and Certified letters come with a free tracking number by email; $3 letters come with an email the day they are mailed, but no delivery tracking.
- Common uses: contracts and legal documents, invoices and business mail, government and tax forms, invitations and announcements, personal letters and photos.

## Pricing
- **Letter: $3.** Up to 5 pages, folded into a standard envelope and mailed USPS First-Class, with an email the day it is mailed (no delivery tracking). Delivery time depends on the mail; if it hasn't arrived within 3 weeks, we mail it again for free. Color adds $1.
- **Certified letter: $11.** Up to 5 pages, folded into a standard envelope and sent Certified, with a tracking number by email. Color adds $1.
- **Certified letter with a return receipt: $14.** The Certified letter plus USPS's electronic return receipt, signed by whoever receives it: once USPS records delivery, open the letter's USPS Tracking page, choose Return Receipt Electronic, and USPS emails the signed receipt (we email the steps). Not available for military (APO/FPO/DPO) or U.S. territory addresses. Ordered on the website ("Certified + return receipt" in the uploader). Color adds $1.
- One copy of one document, up to 5 pages, on US Letter paper. Longer documents and multiple copies go flat and tracked. Flat prices with no hidden fees: sales tax is added where required, nothing else.
- **Flat and tracked: from $15.** The $15 base price covers a standard document up to 30 pages and includes printing, paper, a rigid mailer, postage and a free tracking number.
- Page tiers:
  - 1-30 pages: included
  - 31-50 pages: +$10
  - 51-100 pages: +$30
  - 101-250 pages: +$70
  - 251+ pages: +$70 plus $0.20 per page above 250
- Options: color +$0.05 per color page (pages x copies). Every order prints on US Letter paper (8.5 x 11 in.).
- Pages are counted across the whole order (pages x copies, every file). Sales tax is added where required; Stripe calculates it at checkout. No subscription, no minimum order.

## Mailing outside the US
- Flat and tracked uploads also mail to Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia and Japan. Choose the country under "Mailing to" in the uploader at https://haveitprinted.com.
- To Canada and Mexico: $29 for 1-19 pages, $39 for 20-50, $45 for 51-100, $65 for 101-250. To the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia and Japan: $39, $55, $65 and $95 for the same page bands. Pages are counted across the whole order (pages x copies). Color adds $0.05 per color page. Up to 250 printed pages an order outside the US.
- Letters and Certified letters mail to US addresses only.
- Mailing outside the US is ordered on the website; AI assistants and agents (MCP) mail to US addresses only for now.
- We can't guarantee delivery outside the US. Mail sent abroad has no claims or insurance, so if it's lost we can't promise a replacement or a refund.

## What you can upload
- Accepted file types: bmp, doc, docx, gif, jpeg, jpg, odt, pdf, png, rtf, tif, tiff, txt, webp.
- Up to 100 MB per file, 10 files per order, 200 MB per order.
- Maximum 5,000 pages in a single job.

## Privacy and security
- Uploaded files are used only to print and mail the order. They are never sold, never used for ads and never used to train AI.
- Uploads that never reach checkout are deleted within about 6 hours; a paid order's files are deleted automatically about 30 days after delivery (90 days at most).

AI assistants and agents (MCP) can order a Letter or Certified letter too; letters are paid at checkout, and agent self-pay covers flat and tracked orders only.
- No account and no subscription.

## For AI agents (MCP)
- MCP endpoint: https://agents.haveitprinted.com/mcp (protocol 2025-06-18, JSON-RPC over HTTP POST).
- Auth: Bearer API key; POST https://agents.haveitprinted.com/v1/onboard {email} to self-serve
- An agent can: read service and pricing information; create a print-and-mail job; get an upload target for the document; set print options and a US mailing recipient; get an authoritative quote; get the exact final payable amount, including tax, before paying; pay autonomously with a delegated payment authorization; create a Stripe checkout for a person to pay instead; read payment, order and tracking state.
- Two payment paths. An agent holding a delegated payment authorization can pay programmatically and no browser checkout is needed; otherwise the agent creates a Stripe checkout and a person pays there. HIP never accepts card numbers or CVV through the API.
- Autonomous purchasing is live: hip_prepare_payment then hip_complete_payment. Supported authorization: stripe_shared_payment_token. HIP charges the exact prepared total and never the authorization's maximum. No card numbers or CVV are accepted.
